Different people can have opposite experience of it, depending on their attention span on it and the time they spent to devour it. The faster a book is read, the less you can read between the lines.[3] Developing thoughts, having deep experiences, and making intimate friends do not happen quickly. It may be possible at times to comprehend and remember facts, but that does not equal true wisdom extracted from a good read. Being able to read and have that knowledge change them identifies a true reader. According to some studies, reading hurriedly under time pressure can sabotage a student’s comprehension.[4] It is possible to speed through a book but a book that has value is defined by how the ideas affect you. Quality is more important than quantity. Good writing offers us a chance to reflect. If you need to learn, you must read thoughtfully.
