I won’t deny, I’m one guy who benefits from new technology, athough we must be aware of the its perils, too. As an old song by Billy Joel goes — I took the good times, I’ll take the bad times, I’ll take you just the way you (new gadgets) are. Additional lyrics should be — if we wise up, and we should, we’ll avoid the bad times, too. It means, you need to train yourself how to evade new tech’s bad effects by learning how to control its use. Then you’ll be safe. We mentioned the positives a while ago, now, time to present the negatives of a constantly plugged-in lifestyle. Your kids’ backs and wrists are sore, most of the time they have disrupted sleep, and this one worries me a lot: their attention spans are diminished tremendously.
