One of those teens is Elif Bilgin, a 16 year old from Instabul, Turkey, who won the Google’s 2013 Voter’s Choice Award as well as the Scientific American Science in Action Award. Elif has a dream for a less wasteful planet, a passion for research and innovation, and a lot of banana peels.
